  1. Setting Up HP Wi-Fi Network Printer

Follow the below-mentioned process to set up the Wi-Fi connection of your HP Wireless Printer.

  1. i) Network Default Setting – HP Printer With Touch Screen

The first step you need to take is to make your HP Wireless Printer ready for a Wi-Fi connection. For this requirement, restore the Default Network Setting as explained below.

  • On the touch screen display, go to the Settings or Wireless icon.
  • Go to the Menu
  • Select Network Setting option
  • Select Restore Network Setting

  • Go to the settings

  • Press & hold it for a few seconds or cancel X buttons
  • Wait till Power light flashes

  • The Wi-Fi Network Default Setting is restored.
  1. iv) HP Envy, Envy Pro, Deskjet  & Tango Printers

If you are using any of these HP Printers with Wireless Wi-Fi connectivity features, follow these steps to Restore Default Wi-Fi setting.

  • Move to the back-side of the printer
  • Go to the Wireless button
  • Press it for 5-10 seconds and wait till the status light flashes
  • Go to Restore Wi-Fi Set-Up Mode & press it
  • The Wireless Wi-Fi network Default Set Up is restored.
  1. HP Smart App Installation On The System or Smart Phone

After you have Restored Default Network Settings, then you need to install HP Smart App on your system or smartphone. Complete these steps for setting up your HP Printer on the Wi-Fi network.

  • Install the HP Printer and place your system near the Wi-Fi Router
  • Turn on Wi-Fi mode on the system or Smart Phone
  • If your system is connected with an Ethernet cable, then disconnect it for some time.
  • Use Wi-Fi connection to connect to the Network

  • Create your HP account on 123.hp.com and sign in
  • Install HP Smart for your Android or iOS mobile phone  iPadOS from the 123.hp.com
  • If you are to use the App across devices, then click “No Thanks” to sign in to the Microsoft Store.
  • Go to the + sign and add Printer
  • Complete the setup
  • Enable the mobile device location and allow the app to use your location
